Let’s be honest, there’s nothing quite like the freedom of a summer bike ride. The wind in your hair, the sun on your back, and then.... the agonizing sensation of "cheese-grater" metal studs digging into your feet. We’ve all been there, trying to cruise to the beach or around the neighborhood in no shoes, only to realize standard bike pedals were designed for SHOES, not human skin. At Velovate, we decided to stomp the pain between your bike pedal and the souls of your bare feet.​

Why We Exist

 

At Velovate, we all know the pain of trying to ride your bike barefoot. Standard pedals are built for grip at the expense of comfort. They’re sharp, rigid, and frankly, a bit hostile to anyone not wearing sneakers. We founded Velovate to create a pain friendly, convenient, and stylish solution for the casual cruiser, the beach-goer, and the "shoes-are-optional" adventurer.​​​
